This is information Judy Siver sent me on October 24, 2012 while she was gathering information on veterans for the class of 1962 - 50 year reunion.  
         
Bruce Hansen had printed the following in the 10 year reunion booklet dated November 24, 1972 - Class of 1962.

“A stint in the Army earned him the rank of Spec 4 and Bruce is now a member of the American Legion.”
